Women’s Ministries
Various ministries are reaching the women of Ghana. Some of the women are being taught to read English as a second language; others are working with the illiterate on Scripture memory. Some areas have bi-monthly meetings where different women get together for fellowship and spiritual encouragement. Other areas have annual meetings.
Two formal programs have been developed for use with women’s ministries. For our literate women we have Women of Faith. This class is a basic overview of the New Testament, Scripture memory, as well as recitation of inspirational poetry and essays.
Standing in Grace is a similar program especially designed for the illiterate women who attend our Sunday school classes.
