Jim and Rosie Johnson
Jim and Rosie Johnson came to Ghana as veteran missionaries who have previously served in the Central African Republic, and then the Ivory Coast.

Jim is your all around handy man. He supervises the maintenance of the 20 acres leased to Baptist Mid-Missions of Ghana. He teaches at the BBI (Baptist Bible Institute) in Wa. He participates with the local pastor’s fellowship by preaching at evangelistic meetings. Jim has helped in the construction of six churches in six years there in the Upper West. Jim also has an on going project of constructing very strong pews for the churches in the Upper West. His design includes not only pews for adults but some sized for children as well. This is done at no cost to the churches, but churches and individuals abroad from Ghana provide the funds.

Rosie ministers alongside her husband. She is involved in teaching reading to those who use English as their second language. The wives of our pastors, deacons, and BBI students, as well as any one who wants to improve their English in the area are encouraged to join. Rosie teaches English at BBI and as God provides for some key boards and /or piano for the school will help to teach music. Rosie participates with the local fellowship of the pastors wives which meet every other month. She is also the person who co-coordinates the hostess responsibilities that surround the Bible school, and the local churches in the Upper West.
